The colours fit exactly in the house - scrap textiles found at the fabric outlet, the idea for the designs usually develop when I start sewing / doing it. The table cloth is slightly see-through, which makes it compliment the design of the bistro table itself.
Love the idea of using umbrella fabric (from broken down umbrellas found alongside the walking paths after a storm) - not unnecessary here in Ireland, and it can protect bags, too.
The story of recycling
When moving to Ireland into a studio on a farm, there was no waste bin nor collection arranged. I looked into possibilities to get a company to collect my waste to no avail. When I started looking into alternatives, I found the local council civic amenity recycle centre website. Almost everything can be sorted and brought there - to the site situated outside of the city. To cut this short, I now separate my waste, and bring it to the site once every 2.5 months - and I pay 7 Euros...
